The donuts look AND taste amazing. To be honest my favorite is the plain vegan. But they're all so good.
Been coming here since 2015, ordering the same things: ham & cheese croissant, green thai tea, and thai tea. No need to drive to Seaside Bakery in Newport to wait in line. Service is always quick and easy, and they're open 24/7! A nice place to study as well if you're a student at CSULB.
I recently ordered from here on UberEats and it was amazing! I wish this donut place was closer to me (as the shipping cost was pretty expensive lol) but I was not disappointed :) What I got: - 1 Tiger Tail Donut, has maple icing and chocolate chips on top The donut was super big and I loved how crispy & delicious it was!!

It's hard to find a 24 hour donut place with fresh donuts day and night. But here it is. Very weird parking lot but found a spot at the end. In this little strip "mall" there's a pizza place, cigar lounge, dive bar, and Simone's Donuts. Dive bar is a bit sketchy - bouncer outside, weird guy with a golf club (?), husky voiced lady out of Bar Fly (featuring Faye Dunaway and Mickey Rourke). Simone's has lots of regulars so that's a great sign. Cheaper to pay cash. Many fresh donuts! I've picked up donuts here for my Cal State Long Beach staff before and they were great. This time my husband and I got some of our favorites - unglazed buttermilk bar, very good. Almond filled croissant, jelly filled. She gave us a free blueberry cake donut and it was the best we've ever had. I think she heard us talking about whether or not to get the blueberry. Highly recommend this place!
This review is for the custom donuts. I ordered Mario themed birthday donuts for a class of kindergarten kids. These donuts were a hit!!! It was nice to see the kids eyes light up when we opened the boxes. The kids went after them in a shark feeding frenzy fashion . Highly recommend. The donuts were very fresh and tasty. The prices vary depending on complexity, but are reasonable and worth it. Melissa designed everything and made it happen. I just asked for Mario themed donuts and texted her the birthday message. Thank you, Melissa!
I was craving some donuts and gave Simone's Donuts a try after hearing great things about it. This is a mom & pop donut shop, I love that they're open 24/7. Thus, when I had some late night cravings, I was able to swing by. Surprisingly, there was still a good amount of people inside and outside the donut shop at 11 PM. They are brightly lit inside, which I like. Even though it was late, their cases were filled with donuts and they still had new batches coming out! I got a variety and was able to share some with coworkers and family. Some of the donuts were okay, a little bit on the sweeter and greasier side. However, I really enjoyed their cronut! (Croissant donut). It was flaky, and I liked all the layers. I also liked their apple fritter and ham and cheese croissant. I'd be back, especially if I needed to bring a variety to work!
I'm so disappointed once again with them being out of vegan donuts, I hope they can start making more because it's obvious that people love them, they only had a St. Patrick's day one which was good too but not what I wanted, my kids loved them tho! The donut holes were great but they aren't vegan.
